In the mental health book QUEST FOR A NEW DEATH Death and Adjustment Hypotheses we learned that the current traditional concept of death is not an optimum one. Also it described that the current concept of death is harmful for ourselves. In fact, to define our existence our mind plays a very important role. When we see that our mind is hurt, it can be very easily assumed that our existence is misjudged in some way.

Nobody can deny death. It is inevitable for every human. Mortality is represented by the criteria of dying. All these are very perfect. Then why should our mind be hurt by death – one of the most natural events. In fact the problem occurs when one considers death as the end of existence. If we consider death as the end of existence, the inner meaning of mortality will be the criteria of having an ending existence. But if we consider death as not the end of existence the inner meaning changes significantly, in fact it just reverts.
